THE STORY BEHIND THE PRICE
It started with a conversation about the cost of living.
And a question about what value really means.
We wanted to find a way to help more people have great hair while reducing the plastic waste in their bathrooms. That started a conversation about our prices, which led us down a much bigger rabbit hole about the economy, the value of a product and the value of the person buying it.
We are absolutely not saying the cost-of-living crisis isn’t real. It’s the very reason we started asking these questions.
Then we looked closely at our own numbers and realised something: our original pricing wasn’t unreasonable. We are a small business packing orders in rural Western Australia. Postage costs money. Stock costs money. And if we want to grow, our business needs to make money too.
But we’d already started the conversation publicly, and we still wanted to see what would happen if we tried something different.
Not a race to the bottom. A race towards true value.
So we’re following through. One hundred full-size bars. $4.50 each. One Economy Month experiment.
A DIFFERENT WAY TO PRICE

WHAT’S CHANGING
We’re separating product price from postage.
Previously, a single full-size bar was $15.50 with postage included.
During Economy Month, that same bar is $4.50, with postage calculated separately at checkout.
If you buy several bars in one parcel, the difference becomes more interesting.
WHAT ISN’T CHANGING
The bars themselves.
These are our regular full-size 80g bars. We’re not changing the formulas or creating a smaller Economy Month version.
You choose the varieties and quantities that suit your bathroom.
No pre-made campaign bundles to work around.

We’re building this business from rural Western Australia. Our longer-term ambition is to expand our product range and work towards a local manufacturing future that creates opportunities in our region.
That takes customers. It takes repeat orders. And it takes a business that can grow sustainably.
Economy Month is one small experiment in how we get there together.

A few things worth knowing.
Are these the regular full-size bars?
Yes. They’re our regular 80g Detox Shampoo, Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner bars.
Can I buy more than one?
Absolutely. Choose the combination and quantity that suits you, subject to the remaining campaign stock.
Why am I paying postage separately?
We’re showing the product price and postage separately rather than building a postage allowance into every bar’s price. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Is this clearance stock or a different formula?
No. These are our familiar bars and regular formulas. Economy Month is a pricing experiment.
What happens when the 100 bars are gone?
The $4.50 campaign offer ends. We plan to introduce our new regular pricing after Economy Month.
